It’s Dec 2019, back when virtually no one wore a face mask and zoom pub quizzes didn’t exist. We embarked on a family trip Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, nearly 18 months after booking the trip to coincide with the opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge (Star Wars Land)…
This was our 2nd purely Disney visit, so again we stayed on property this time at the Carribean Beach resort. We chose there because of the new skyliner service to the parks, and because then we got the full benefit of the Disney Dining plan.
The boys were 3 & 4, and really appreciated everything this time around. They went on all the rides they could and were very excited.

I can’t overstate how amazing Galaxy’s Edge is, the immersion is brilliant, the theming is amazing. As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I was in my element.
The highlight for me was riding the Millenium Falcon ride and getting to pull the Hyperspace levers with the eldest. It got me quite emotional.
