I blinked and 3 years went past since I did the last site reboot. Such is life.
I was forced to do another redesign as the costs of keeping the old one running went through the roof. So I migrated my hosting, and changed all the templates to use free stuff.
I’m still stuck with the realisation that I don’t really know what I want to do with GDC. I won’t let someone else buy it, so I might as well use it.
That got me thinking of all the things I don’t like about the internet today.. like having to accept cookies everywhere, then it being 4 clicks to get to content, and oh the ads.
So I thought GDC could be a throwback and a haven from all those things to remind us of a simpler time.
In the last 3 years I’ve been all over the world on adventures. I’ve become the CEO of a company, and I’m still parent to 2 boys, and a husband funding my wife’s holiday habit.
In short, I still have stuff to talk about. If I can remember to post here.
