Apparently only two things are from Texas – Steers and.. Beers.

I went to Texas on a work trip*, and decided to fly into and out of Austin as I’d never been there, and hire a car.

*Robotics conference just outside Houston, but Garfey.com is not about work.

I was coming off the back of being ill (the ‘rona maybe) so didn’t get to do as much as I wanted, no training with the top Jiu Jitsu teams in the world 🙁

Anyway, I got some recommendations and did some googling and ended up enjoying a few of the delights Austin had to offer: The State Capitol, Live Music on 6th Street; Views from Mount Bonnell, North Lake Shore, Peacocks at Mayfield Cottage, and Tacos!
